Workshop – Innovative Approaches to Aging in Place: In-Home and Community-Based Long-Term Care

Participants with explore creative strategies that allow older adults to obtain the care and support they need to remain safely in their homes and communities and to improve health outcomes. Approaches that meet the needs of diverse groups of older adults in both urban and rural areas will be discussed.

GLEH will be proudly participating as featured presenters and moderators at the Conference on Healthy Aging on February 2nd, 2010. This will be a statewide conference on healthy aging issues presented in collaboration with The California Wellness Center and The Center for Civic Partnerships. GLEH staff will be presenting and sharing their expertise with statewide agency leaders on such topics as Increasing access to food and housing to aging communities.
