The following programs and employers have cultivated an ongoing relationship between their business and GLEH. Maintaining a revenue stream of donations and grants can be a challenge for nonprofits such as ours. Because of this, GLEH offers the following alternative sources of revenue to support our operations.

GLEH is participating in Orbitz’ biggest fundraiser ever for LGBT and HIV/AIDS charities. Select Gay & Lesbian Elder Housing in Orbitz’ LGBT and HIV/AIDS charity promotion and GLEH will receive a donation every time you book a hotel or vacation package for two or more nights through March 31, 2010. Workplace Giving
One of the easiest ways to donate is through employee designated giving in the workplace. These programs are hosted by the employer, United Way, or Local Independent Charities. Your employer deducts an amount (that you specify) from each paycheck and sends it to us. All donations through workplace giving are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law. If you don’t see the Gay & Lesbian Elder Housing on the application form, you can write us in with our EIN number 35-2160631. Your donation will go to help your LGBT elder community all year long.-
Wellpoint Associate Giving Campaign - Employee Contributions
Wellpoint employees can designate Gay & Lesbian Elder Housing as their charity of choice by having employee payroll funds withheld at the request of the employee, which are then made through the Wellpoint Foundation and provided directly to GLEH during Wellpoint’s Associate Giving Campaign. Please contact your local Human Resources department for further details.

Wells Fargo Community Support/United Way Campaign – Employee Contributions
